PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system wherein a microphone arranged in a remote controller can be directed toward a sound collection object without being obstructed by a remote control cable and a headphone cable. SOLUTION: The remote controller 2 formed to be nearly a rectangular solid is arranged at its one end in the length direction with the microphone 23, and connected at the other end with the remote control cable 4 and the headphone cable 5. That is, the connected positions of the remote control cable 4 and the headphone cable 5 in the remote controller 2 are arranged at the other end opposite to the end at which the microphone 23 is arranged.
