<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing head which can perform output correction of a plurality of recording elements by a desired correction resolving power. <P>SOLUTION: An LPH (LED Print Head) is equipped with an LED array consisting of a plurality of LEDs 64 arranged, a quantity of light unevenness correction value storage part 71 which stores correction data of 64 steps set for each recording element so as to correct quantity of light irregularities of the plurality of LEDs 64, a correction range switching register 73 which changes the correction range (correction resolving power) by the correction data of 64 steps stored in the quantity of light unevenness correction value storage part 71, and a lighting clock number calculating part 74 which calculates a lighting time of the LEDs 64 that should output from the result of adding a correction lighting number to a basic lighting number of each LED 64. The correction lighting number is obtained with the use of a correction value read out from the quantity of light unevenness correction value storage part 71 and a correction range register value set by the correction range switching register 73. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
