PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device, an authentication server, and an authentication method preventing a different relay device outside the control of a provider from impersonating the relay device under control of the provider and posing the threat of violating user privacy through the tapping or falsifying of data. SOLUTION: The relay device 200 includes a security information receiving part 201 for receiving first security information including a user ID and user authentication information from a terminal device 100; a security information processing part 203 for creating second security information by adding the relay device ID and relay device authentication information to the first security information; and a security information sending part 204 for sending the second security information to the authentication server.
