The system has an integrated adaptation equipment (2), which adaptively generates a compensation signal (KS) from a received broad band signal. The broad band signal is transferred with a boosted sinusoidal signaling signal of an activating system (3). A subtraction equipment (10) subtracts the generated compensation signal from the transferred broad band signal, so that an error compensated broad band signal is designed. An independent claim is also included for a subscriber telephone exchange with a broadband system.
