PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image of high quality by outputting optimum video data according to the type of a monitor. SOLUTION: Various monitors 14 are connected to an image composition processing section 28, and characteristics of a monitor 14 to which a system control section 20 is connected are discriminated; and characteristics of the video data to be outputted to the monitor 14 are changed based upon the discriminated characteristics, and the video data are processed into a signal and is outputted to the monitor 14.
