PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure control device for a cylinder injection engine, capable of promoting vaporization and atomization of fuel in a combustion chamber while securing favorable injection precision of an injector so as to improve fuel combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: This fuel pressure control device for a cylinder injection engine for directly injecting fuel to the combustion chamber is provided with a fuel pressure correction means to correct pressure of fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve for directly injecting fuel to the combustion chamber to rise, a fuel injection pulse correction means to correct fuel injection pulses to decrease, and a combustion fluctuation detection means to detect fluctuation of a combustion state in the combustion chamber based on variation of a prescribed parameter in accordance with correction of fuel pressure by the fuel pressure correction means. The fuel pressure correction means limits correction of fuel pressure in a case where the variation of the parameter detected by the combustion fluctuation detecting means becomes a prescribed value or more, and fixes it to the fuel pressure before the variation of the parameter at the prescribed value or more is detected.
