<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital still camera printing system, a digital still camera and a printer which are capable of inexpensively realizing utilization of a digital image acquired by photographing with the digital still camera, and to provide a control method of the digital still camera printing system and a program for the digital still camera printing system. <P>SOLUTION: The digital still camera is configured in such a way that a storage medium stores background printing information consisting of layout information of a background image and a foreground image, and the background printing information and one or more items of selected digital image file data are transmitted to the printer via a communication means. The printer is configured in such a way that, when receiving the background printing information and the digital image file data from the digital still camera, the received digital image is laid out according to the layout information included in the background printing information, the background image included in the background printing information is synthesized with the laid-out digital image, and an image after composition is printed and outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
