<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give natural slippage of pitches to a musical sound signal only to a musical performance equivalent to special rendition so as to divide sound short while suppressing the increase of an amount of processing concerned with pitch change in the case of using timbre of a natural musical instrument with which the slippage of pitches is easy to be generated. <P>SOLUTION: When a new note-on message is one concerned with prescribed timbre, and its pitches are the same as those of an immediately preceding note-on message and time difference, etc., between the both messages are within prescribed ranges, pitch change is applied to pitches concerned with the new note-on message. The amount of pitch change is determined in a random basis within the range equal to or higher than the maximum change width max 2 in a negative direction and equal to or lower than the maximum change width max 1 in a positive direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
