PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper designed to cut nails safely and securely with no fear of cutting a nail to the quick or cutting other parts due to a window formed on the nail clipper body through which a user can see a nail to be cut. SOLUTION: This nail clipper is provided with an observation window between the portion including an upper blade and the front part of an upper blade holder plate, and the fulcrum of the press control plate for the upper blade holder plate, through which a user can see the part of a nail to be cut, so that the user can safely and securely cut his/her nails at ease.
