During the welding the sheet formations (65a, 65b) are guided by a guide wheel (59a, 59b) which rotates with approximately the same peripheral speed as the roller sonotrode (13), wherein the tendency for wave formation with the welded sheet formations (65a, 65b) is minimal. |
