<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of properly performing stapling according to a print medium to be stapled. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device 1 comprises a staple part 4 performing stapling to the print medium printed by an engine part 3. The staple part 4 comprises a first staple part 42 stapling and discharging the print medium by using short leg staples with small maximum binding thickness for one binding and a second staple part 43 stapling and discharging the print medium by using long leg staples with large maximum binding thickness.
