<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the excellent bearing unit for a wheel in the durability that can prevent the creep of the different flange without increasing the exposed thread of the above different flange installed than the hub race by mitigating the stress power concentration around the flange part in the hub flange side of a hub race. <P>SOLUTION: An outward member 1 having a double row race face 1a on the inner circumference, an inward member 2 having an double row race face 2a and a double row conical roller are provided with the bearing unit. The inward member 2 has a hub race with a hub flange 10 for setting wheels on the outer circumference and an inner race 5 that is engaged to the outer circumference of the in-board end of the hub race 3. The above race face 2a on each row is formed in these hub race 3 and the inner race 5. The large flange that lies adjacent to the race face 2a of the hub race 3 is made to be the different flange 6 engaged in the close-fitting condition on the outer circumference of the hub race 3 adjacent to the above hub flange 10.
