It is intended to provide a method of screening a drug by using a disease-associated gene product; an antibody against a disease-associated gene product; and an antisense DNA inhibiting the expression of a disease-associated gene product. More specifically speaking, it is intended to provide a protein having an amino acid sequence which is the same or substantially the same as the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, its partial peptide or a salt thereof.
