<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue color filter capable of attaining high color reproducibility and high contrast. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the blue color filter constituted of a color filter formed by dispersing at least blue pigment in binder resin, and a spectroscopic characteristics adjusting filter arranged in parallel to the color filter, formed by dispersing non-pigment coloring matter, whose maximum absorption wavelength extent in a visible wavelength region is 455nm to 540nm, and having a half width of ≤50nm, in a binder resin, a ratio of the blue pigment to the whole pigment as coloring material contained in the color filter is at least ≥90%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
