摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the jump-up of a tension arm portion which energizes a belt with the energizing force of a torsion coil spring, due to a tension change of the belt. SOLUTION: This belt drive mechanism 500 comprises a toothed driving pulley 552 to be driven by a motor, a toothed driven pulley 550, the endless belt 553 toothed on the inner peripheral face and bridged between the driving pulley 552 and a toothed portion 562 of the driven pulley 550 for transmitting the driving force of the driving pulley to the driven pulley, an auto tension mechanism 755 for energizing the belt to apply tension to the belt, and a tension arm jump-up preventing means 800. The tension arm jump-up preventing means 800 has a restricting part 810 on a holder portion 551 as a base on which the auto tension mechanism 755 is mounted, for restricting the jump-up of the tension arm portion 701 in the direction of the reaction of the belt against the energizing force.
