PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide woven or knitted fabric that has excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability and washable properties specific to polyester fiber but can cause large movement of heat and gives cool feeling including coldness, when the fabric is put on. SOLUTION: The woven or knitted fabric having excellent cool feeling comprises a fiber-forming polymer that includes 30 wt.% of polyether-ester compound dispersed in the fiber-forming polymer in the filament form. Further, the heat movement on one face of the fabric is 0.09 W/cm<SP>2</SP>or more and the contacting area between the polyester filament yarns and the skin is more than 20%.
