PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material for aircraft that has light weight, sufficient mechanical strength for sustaining the shape of structure and can suppress the fire spreading and the emission of poison gas on fire. SOLUTION: The interior material for aircraft has a lattice structure that is constituted with 10 to 60 wt.% of discontinuous reinforcing fiber and 40 to 90 wt.% of thermoplastic resin where the thermoplastic resin is arranged to the crossing points of the reinforcing fibers where the volume of gas evolution is less than 100 in the twenty-minute combustion according to ASTM E662, the percentage of porosity is 20 to 90 vol.%, and the bend elastic constant is 1 GPa and more.
