PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition and a resin molded product in which biodegradability is each improved. SOLUTION: In the resin composition in which an organically modified clay mineral obtained by ion-exchanging at least one of inorganic cations of clay mineral with an organic cation is contained in a resin, the organic cation is an organic cation having biodegradability or an organic cation produced from an amphoteric surfactant and/or a semipolar surfactant.
