PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter preventing the occurrence of unsatisfactory leveling according to change in energizing force of a return spring and a change in grounding posture of a leveling float in a transplanter provided with the leveling float up and down swingingly supported through a pivoting axis of the lower part of a transplanting section and the return spring installed on the pivoting axis. SOLUTION: This invention is the transplanter comprising the leveling float 26 up and down swingingly supported on the tip of a supporting arm 35 swingingly supported on the transplanting part 22 and setting the transplanting depth as variable by changing relative height of the transplanting part 22 and the leveling float 26 by the swing of the supporting arm 35 and using the return spring 42 as an energizing member for lifting up the front part of the leveling float 26, and setting the energizing force of the return spring 42 as unchangeable from relative height change accompanied by the change in the relative height of the transplanting part 22 and the leveling float 26 caused by adjustment of transplanting depth, and the posture of the leveling float 26 is constituted unchangeably.
