PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grease composition for automobile wheel bearings having a prolonged flaking life, a prolonged lubrication life and a reduced fretting in the automobile wheel bearings. SOLUTION: This grease composition for automobile wheel bearings comprises (a) a urea-based thickening agent represented by the following formula (1), (b) an organic molybdenum compound and (c) a base oil. The above formula (1) is R<SB>1</SB>-NHCONH-R<SB>2</SB>-NHCONH-R<SB>3</SB>(1), wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>may be each the same or different, and denote each a 6-12C aromatic hydrocarbon group; and R<SB>2</SB>denotes a 6-15C aromatic hydrocarbon group.
