PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest of a vehicle seat capable of solving a problem that the post-installation is impossible because an inertia force detection unit is installed in a backrest seat. SOLUTION: In the headrest H of the vehicle seat provided on an upper part of a backrest seat 2, the headrest H has a body headrest part 12 while performing the surface treatment of an outer periphery of a body frame 4 fixed to a pillar 6 to be fitted to the backrest seat 2, and a movable headrest part 14 is formed by providing a cushion material 11 on a movable frame 22 which is turnably mounted on the body frame 4 at the center of a rotary supporting shaft 13. When an inertia force detection unit 20 provided on the body headrest part 12 or the movable headrest part 14 senses the inertia force, the movable headrest part 14 is forwardly turned with respect to the body headrest part 12 around the rotary supporting shaft 13 by a working mechanism L.
