PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the occurrence of a defect at a divided edge and to prevent divided material and a small piece of glass due to edge removal and terminal part formation from being left behind in a conveying path for a liquid crystal panel involved in dividing a a liquid crystal panel along its cutting-plane line. SOLUTION: A device for folding and dividing a liquid crystal display comprises: a first folding and dividing device B composed of a thrusting up bar material 12 that is elevated or lowered by an appropriate elevating and lowering means and a dividing means 14, located over the bar material and exerting dividing force involved in being lowered; a first conveying device C for the liquid crystal panel, wherein each cutting-plane line on the liquid crystal panel A on which edge removal, terminal part formation, and large dividing and product-sized subdividing cutting-plane lines are formed on surface and rear faces is provided so as to reach the first cracking device; a second conveying device E that receives a largely divided liquid crystal panel folded and divided by the first cracking device as a load for conveying; a swiveling device D for swiveling the largely divided liquid crystal panel by 90°, and a second folding and dividing device F which is provided so as to apply edge removal, terminal part formation and division along the subdividing cutting-plane line to the liquid crystal panel conveyed by a third conveying device G, and has the same configuration as that of the first cracking device.
