TWO STAGE TYPE ELECTROSTATIC DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To increase a dust collecting efficiency, by providing distance retaining materials made of low electricaly conductive materials locating at a high voltage generating part to prevent an occurence of spark and making an application of the high voltage possible by said means. CONSTITUTION:Plural distance retaining materials 22A are provided to a collecting part 12 at equal space intervals to each other. A filter medium 24 made of glass fiber is disposed in a zigzag shape to the materials 22A to put every one of the plural materials 22A on the downstream side and the upstream side alternately so as to partition them into said two sides. Then the voltage is applied to a charging part 10 and the collecting part 12 respectively by a common electric source 28, and a dusty gas is sent into the part 12 from the part 10.
