AUTOMATIC FOCUSING CAMERA

PURPOSE:To load a release member constantly regardless of whether a photographic lens is in focus for short or long distance, by allowing a focus adjusting member which drives the photographic lens to be driven associatively with the stroke of the release member. CONSTITUTION:The release member 1 has long-sized holes 2a and 2b at its upper and lower parts and is attached in a vertically movable state to pins 3a and 3b provided in a camera body. This release member 1 is pressed up elastically by a spring 4 all the time. The focus adjusting member 5 which drives the photographic lens to a short-distance or long-distance position is energized counterclockwise by a spring 6 all the time. The focus adjusting member 5, however, is locked normally by locking a projection 5a provided at its outer circumference by a projection 1a of the release member 1. A stopper 7 for controlling the angle of driven rotation of the focus adjusting member 5 is locked by a projection provided to the focus adjusting member 5.
