<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prevention method for elution of a waste containing heavy metals, a little in elution amount of heavy metals and possible to treat with low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The prevention method is a method for the elution of the waste containing heavy metals consisting of any one or two or more of a shredder dust, burned ash, burned fly ash and collected dust. An aqueous reagent solution containing any one or two of poly(aluminum chloride) and aluminum sulfate is sprayed on the waste, or the waste is dipped in the aqueous reagent solution containing any one or two of the poly(aluminum chloride) and the aluminum sulfate.
