CARBON NANOTUBE COMPOSITE SHEET AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube composite sheet capable of exerting outstanding anisotropic functions not obtained in the past with respect to properties such as electrical properties, thermal properties, mechanical properties or the like and capable of being simply and inexpensively produced, and its production method. SOLUTION: The production method for the carbon nanotube composite sheet comprises a step for forming a carbon nanotube having its cylindrical axis oriented in a direction perpendicular to a substrate and an impregnating step for impregnating the carbon nanotube with a polymeric molding material so that the cylindrical axis of the carbon nanotube is oriented in the thickness direction of the sheet.
