<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail printing method and its device for integrally and uniquely deciding and outputting a sheet size when it is determined that output sheet sizes coexist in receiving and analyzing a print job constituted of a plurality of attached files, and for preventing the interruption of print due to the decision of sheets by automatically deciding the sheet size even when the sheet size of print is unclear. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic mail printing device for printing an electronic mail received from the other device connected to a network is configured to separate a header part, a text part and an attached file part from a received electronic mail, and to analyze the separated header part, text part and attached file part, and to set a sheet size to be outputted by an output means as the value of the sheet size designated by a sheet designation panel for designating the sheet size or the value of the sheet size designated from a host device when the output sheet size of the attached file is not present, not designated or coexist, and to form and output a print image corresponding to the sheet size set based on the mail analysis result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
