<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutting knife or an embossing protrusion having optimum homogeneity as much as possible and to ensure the reduction of period and cost of production process. <P>SOLUTION: A device for making the cutting roller or the embossing roller is provided with a working head 7 which is equipped with a powder nozzle 8 for supplying powdered filler metal to a welded portion, a laser for generating a laser beam 22 capable of forming molten pool, where the powdered filler metal is melted, in the welded portion, a device for detecting heat radiation and/or light emission emitted from the molten pool, and a device for controlling or adjusting laser output corresponding to the heat radiation and/or the light emission emitted from the molten pool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
