<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing unit enabling an output image with a less-uneven density of image to be obtained by keeping the luminescence quantity of light fixed even if the luminescence profile with each luminescence-element array chip is uneven, an image formation device and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The optical writing unit consisting of an LED printhead, wherein two or more chips of a self-scanning luminescence-element array 1 are arranged, is equipped with an establishment means 5 for establishing from outside the resistance of a current limiting resistance 4 for controlling the luminescence quantity of the luminescence element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
