PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection confirmation system of a connector and its method allowing a contact failure part and a failure content to be easily recognized; and to provide a connector. SOLUTION: This connection confirmation system is provided with: a resistance value confirmation part 313 for confirming, by dividing a female part contact 21 of a connector on the side of a device into four such as a left side part, a center part, a right side part and a deep side part, that resistance values between respective parts such as the center part and the left side part, the center part and the right side part, the center part and the deep side part are less than a specified value by connection by a mating contact; a light emission part 314 for displaying the determination result thereof; a power sensing part 316 for confirming that operation power of a board or a device is turned on; a switch part 312 for opening connection between the respective parts and the resistance value confirmation part 313 to connect the respective parts into one and thereafter change over the connection to original destinations; and a checking battery part 315.
