PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device having no need of broad-area/large-volume cultivation environment, improving planting density, achieving electric power saving/space saving, enabling reduction in unevenness of seedling growth, and suitable for darkness/low temperature treatment. SOLUTION: The plant cultivation device is provided with a carrier box 11 comprising wall bodies 11a, 11b, 11c and 11d the upper surfaces of which have light transmittance and with which a required space is formed, and a light source unit 15 provided with a cathodoluminescent lamp 16 at the upper part of the carrier box 11.
