<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compensating apparatus for a printing slippage in a color image forming apparatus which automatically compensates the printing slippage at high precision by being applied to the color image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The compensating apparatus for the printing slippage in printing of the color image comprises: a printing part 23 for printing a printing slippage detection line for two or more reference lines each printed at a pitch set beforehand according to pattern data for each color forming the color image; slippage amount detection means consisting of reading parts 241Y, 241M and 241C for yellow, magenta and cyan detecting the slippage amount against the reference lines in the printing slippage detection lines which are printed by the printing means 23 and slippage amount detection parts 242Y, 242M and 242C for yellow, magenta and cyan ; and a compensating means consisting of compensation parts 243Y, 243M and 243C for yellow, magenta and cyan compensating in the direction of eliminating the slippage amount in the printing part 23 by the detecting output of the slipping amount detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
