TRANSPONDER, INTERROGATOR AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system for identifying the objects mutually while taking advantages of low power consumption, capability of ranging and the like included in wireless communication in a UWB system.

SOLUTION: An attribute impedance unit 3 for generating a response signal by using a pulse signal received by a wide band antenna 1 and a transmission path 2 for transmitting the pulse signal received by the wide band antenna 1 received by the wide band antenna 1 to the attribute impedance unit 3 and transmitting the generated response signal from the attribute impedance unit 3 to the wide band antenna 1 are provided. A wireless tag TGn is equipped with a transmission path 2 having a previously set length and with the wide band antenna 1 for receiving the pulse signal and transmitting the response signal. While the pulse wave is transmitted in a UWB system to the wireless tag TGn, the response signal from the wireless tag TGn is received and the wireless tag TGn is identified from the received waveform.
