CALL PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD IN PRIVATE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a subscriber of a private wireless communication system to be provided with a more convenient communication service at a cheaper price by forwarding a call to a linked PSTN and the Internet when he/she attempts the originated call to a mobile public network.

SOLUTION: A call processing means is provided for routing an originated call to a PSTN or the Internet linked to a private wire;less communication system according to a kind of the received originated call when the originated call is received from a wireless terminal located within a service area of the private wireless communication system. The call processing means comprises a network status management unit for checking a link status of the PSTN and the Internet and preserving/managing link status information, a call processing unit for transferring the originated call to the PSTN or the Internet according to the kind of the originated call, and a routing processing unit for routing the originated call to the call processing unit according to the kind of the received originated call.
