PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for analyzing biological material that displays to explain trouble contents on the display screen of a controller unit for improvement of operability, when troubles occur and an operator can readily understand the trouble contents to make useful for operation for restoration thereafter. SOLUTION: To execute a process by the system control section of the apparatus for analyzing biological material, error information transmitted from a measuring section, when a trouble are detected by a sensor of the measuring section is monitored and processed; an error window for listing to display the error information monitored and processed by an apparatus status information processing section 558 is displayed on a display screen 520; inputs, including selective operation of the error information displayed on the error window, are conducted, and guide information for release of errors with respect to error information are stored; and when at least one error information is selected by an input section 502, a process of displaying the guide information for the release of errors, with respect to selected error information on the display screen is executed by the system control section.
