PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mechanism capable of easily positioning members of a composite product composed of a plurality of members to each other, and to provide a positioning zig capable of easily positioning the members to each other and separating them from each other. SOLUTION: A positioning hole is made in each of the first member and the second member. The positioning hole of the second member is a through-hole, and a female screw portion screwable in a male screw portion is mounted in the inner side of the through-hole. The male screw portion is more undersized than the female screw portion so that the male screw portion is guided by the female screw portion to achieve rotatable screw relation when the positioning portion is fitted in the positioning hole. By this the positioning portion goes straight in the through-hole by rotary drive force of the male screw portion to fit in the positioning hole of the first member and position the first member and the second member.
