<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method which accurately and easily can measure the quantity of maleimidyl group in the polymer particles, suitable for applications such as diagnostic products/medical drugs carriers, chromatographic carriers, viscous conditioners, resin compounds, coating additives, cross-linker/hardeners and cosmetics additives. <P>SOLUTION: This method is for determining maleimidyl group quantity in polymer fine particle, in which a fluorescent material containing at least SH group is reacted to the polymer particle containing at least the maleimidyl group to measure its fluorescence quantity by using a flow cytometer, then measuring the quantity of its maleimidyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
