A vibration detecting sensor applicable to various devices and fields which require accurate vibration detection and measurement. A vibration detecting sensor (100) is provided with a board (2), and a cable-shaped piezoelectric element (1) directly connected at least at one end to the board (2). The cable-shaped piezoelectric element (1) is provided with a core electrode (3), a piezoelectric substance (5) arranged on the circumference of the core electrode, an outer electrode (7) arranged on the circumference of the piezoelectric substance and a coat layer (9) arranged on the circumference of the outer electrode, along the diameter direction.
