PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide au ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which effectively collects data by performing the spatial and temporal thinning processing to respective data collected with the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: A data selecting circuit 5 selects data to be thinned of RF (radio frequency) data outputted from a transmitting and receiving circuit 2, data after signal processing outputted from a signal processing circuit 3, and ultrasonic image data outputted from a DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) circuit 4. A thinning circuit 6 collects data acquired in a predetermined time and included in an area of interest of the data of the selected data and outputs it to a storing unit 11 or a display unit 7. For example, a time zone when the data has to be collected is determined based on the electrocardiographic waveform data collected by an electrocardiograph 9, and the data included in the time zone are collected.
