PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign board post which is strengthened without making wall thickness increase and in which a novel appearance is expressed in respect of design. SOLUTION: In the sign board post 10 placed in order to attach sign boards 20 and 30 at the side for displaying a surrounding guide map and a guide direction to a destination etc., a cross section is formed in a cross-shape with a hollow and an attaching section 13 for attaching sign boards 20 and 30 is formed at least on one of four projection sections 12 prolonged to directions of the cross-shape.
