<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of closing its front panel to be thinned when the air conditioner is not used, and opening the front panel in operating the air conditioner to sufficiently suck the air, and to easily assemble the air conditioner by detaching the front panel with a simple mechanism without driving the front panel by combination of gears. <P>SOLUTION: The front panel 7 is supported by an air conditioner main body 2 reciprocatable between a first state closed by a driving mechanism 27 and a second state opened to secure the prescribed air suction quantity, the driving mechanism 27 comprises a driving-side cam member 33 mounted on an air conditioner main body 2 side to be reciprocated and rocked by an electrically-operated mechanism 34, and a driven-side cam member 35 reciprocated and rocked by the driving-side cam member 33, and the front panel 7 is detachable from the air conditioner main body 2 with the driven-side cam member 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
