PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber magnet which has a high orientation and whose natural property of rubber is also important, and moreover, which the rubber magnet has peculiar elongation and flexibility. SOLUTION: The rubber magnet manufacturing method includes a process where a composition containing a metallic soap and fatty acid as magnet powder, rubber material, and lubricant is press-kneaded to obtain a kneaded product; and a forming process where the kneaded product is formed in a predetermined shape. A fatty acid is a solid fatty acid and the number of carbon preferably is 10 to 17. The fatty acid preferably is at least one kind among a myristic acid, caprylic acid, lauric acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
