PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of an electric field having an influence on the flight of a liquid droplet discharged from a recording head when electrostatically attracting and carrying a recording medium. SOLUTION: A recording sheet 2 is electrostatically attracted by an electrostatic attraction carrying belt 8 and carried to liquid droplet discharging heads 12Y to 12K. Static elimination area forming parts 15Y to 15K are disposed on inner peripheral surfaces opposed to whistle discharge heads 12Y to 12K of the electrostatic attraction carrying belt 8. Each static elimination area forming parts 15H to 15K has a static elimination blade electrode 16 and a recharged blade electrode 17 which slidably contact with the inner peripheral surface of the electrostatic attraction carrying belt 8, and form the static elimination area where the electric field is not generated on an opposed part with respect to the recording head of the electrostatic attraction carrying belt 8 by eliminating the electricity of the electrostatic attraction carrying belt 8 by a static elimination blade electrode 16, and performing recharging by a recharging blade electrode 17.
