PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety door for making a worker safe by separating the worker from the machining tooling installed in a machine tool such as a grinding device, a cutting device and a lathe, and the machine tool having little generation of play at the time of a transportation, regarding a method for installing the safety door. SOLUTION: After assembling and manufacturing the machine tool 1 mounted with a work table 4 and a grinding wheel 3 on a frame 2, a prefabricated material to be a constituting member of the safety door 10 is assembled to surround the frame 2, and the safety door 10 is post-installed. In the safety door 10, a window plate 110 made of a transparent resin plate is openably/closably provided in a wall panel part on the front side of the machine tool 1 where the worker faces to the grinding wheel 3. Since the machine tool 1 is packed separately from the prefabricated material constituting the safety door 10, little play is generated at the time of the transportation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
