<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the connected part of an optical fiber from dust, moisture, etc., and to improve workability in an installation site. <P>SOLUTION: The outer housing is composed of a case 10 which has an opening in the front as well as an inserting port 12 for a trunk side optical fiber in the back and a cover 20 which is mounted on the front opening of this case 10. In addition, the optical outlet is equipped with a repeater adaptor 30 which connects one end of the trunk side optical fiber 50 and one end of the equipment side optical fiber, a support body 40 which is freely rotatably mounted inside the case 10 and which holds the repeater adaptor 30, and an airtight bushing 60 which is attached to the trunk side optical fiber 50 and which seals a gap between the trunk side optical fiber 50 and the inserting port 12. The case 10 is provided with an arranging part 14 of the airtight bushing 60 adjacent to the inserting port 12 and also a guide wall 15 for guiding the airtight bushing 60 to the arranging part 14 in accordance with the rotating operation of the support body 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
