PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for safely measuring high speed cyclic data in an explosion proof area. SOLUTION: A small computer 100 is provided with a process signal inputting part 1, a main storage part 2, an arithmetic part 3 for performing data conversion, an auxiliary storage device 4 for storing converted data, a radio LAN part 5 for transmitting data, and an explosion proof structure storage box 7 for storing them. The auxiliary storage device 4 stores the data converted by the arithmetic part 3, and when the capacity is made full, the data are transmitted from a radio LAN part 5 to a server. The auxiliary storage device 4 may be anything other than the explosion proof structure. Even when sparks are given out due to the short-circuit of an electric circuit or the like, the exterior is not affected by the explosion proof structure storage box 7 so that the setting of a measuring unit in the explosion proof area can be attained.
