MAPPING POWER SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Power system components are mapped using a controller 170 and a data collection system 162. The controller 170 is operable to transmit a first power system component ID for the first power system 141component to a second power system component 50a, wherein the second power system component 150a recieves power from the first power system component 141. The data collection system 162 is operable to recieve from the second power system component 150a the first power system component ID and a second power system component ID for the second power system component 150a. The data collection system 162 is further operable to associate the first power system component 141 with the second power system component 150a based on the received ID's.
