Use of allylic alcohol perfumes as a malodour reduction agent

There is provided the use of an allylic alcohol perfume precursor, preferably an ester, wherein the allylic alcohol perfume is selected from geraniol, nerol and mixtures thereof, for reducing malodours selected from perspiration, smoke, kitchen smells and mixtures thereof. Also provided herein is the use of an allylic alcohol perfume selected from geraniol, nerol and mixtures thereof for reducing malodours selected from smoke, kitchen smells and mixtures thereof.
