<p>A fuel injection valve having excellent atomizing performance and capable of adjusting spray pattern to match various types of engine systems. The fuel injection valve comprises a valve element openable to start and stop the injection of a fuel and a valve seat brought into contact with the valve element to stop the injection of the fuel. A plurality of injection holes for injecting the fuel are formed on the downstream side of the valve element and the valve seat. A turning force adding means adding a turning force to the fuel is installed in a fuel passage starting at the valve seat to the injection holes. The plurality of injection holes are disposed so that a plane having the injection holes is formed of a coarsely disposed portion and a densely disposed portion.</p>
