PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of observers to observe an excellent projection image even in a bright room wherein an electric lamp is turned on. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a reflection type screen for a projector characterized in that: fine ruggedness is formed on a surface (hereinafter a principal surface) which is in a linear Fresnel concave shape vertically having lens operation and contributes to the lens operation and a reflecting layer is provided thereupon; the Fresnel concave shape has a facing-up acute surface in a surface (hereinafter a flank) not contributing to the lens operation and the fine ruggedness has a smaller pitch horizontally than vertically; and diffusion characteristics of visible light reflected by the reflecting layer provided thereupon are horizontally≥±45°in half-value width and vertically±7°to±20°in half-value width.
